Cherry Dance
Mandy McFarlane officially began her career in the entertainment industry after graduating from the Johannesburg Dance Foundation in 2006. Equipped with diplomas in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Latin and Ballroom dancing, as well as years of previous acting courses, poetry writing and public speaking, she was on a mission to be successful as a performing artist.
Ambitious, incredibly talented and with a heart for others, she started her own dance company, Cherry Dance, in 2009 as a platform to combine her performance and choreographic experience with a space where aspiring dancers could learn, develop and blossom. Cherry Dance continues to thrive and boasts theatrical productions, corporate entertainment, dance classes and teachers training programs as well as a mid-year Ball and an end-year Gala Evening each year where Mandy MCs and her dance students showcase their skills.
Apart from her dance achievements, Mandy is a qualified life coach who focuses mainly on building confidence and uplifting those around her. Using dance as her medium, Mandy has access to hundreds of woman and children where she speaks messages of encouragement and empowerment into their lives.
Mandy has written, directed and choreographed a number of musical theatre productions, the latest being The "Total Eclipse" Show which ran from February to August 2022 and "Warrior Moon" which began in September 2022 and is currently running at Hotel Sky in Sandton.
