Tiekie is the CEO & Founder of Shift Impact Africa and Shared Value Africa Initiative. Shift impact Africa is a Shared Value advisory firm and the funder of the Shared Value Africa Initiative (SVAI). SVAI is a Pan African organisation and the Africa partner of the global Shared Value Initiative started by Prof. Michael Porter and Mark Kramer from Harvard Business School. Tiekie is a member of the global Shared Value Steering Committee.

Tiekie is an advocate for gender equality, is passionate about fighting GBV and in June 2020 the SVAI launched the GBVF #ITSNOTOK movement to create societal and business awareness of gender equality in order to motivate change.

Tiekie is a Shared Value Strategist, Gold Member of the GRI, Member of Vega School of Brand Leadership Advisory Committee, Member of the global Shared Value steering committee, Member of Agrilux Marketing Advisory Committee, a Board Member of Creatella Impact, an impact investment firm from NYC, and member of faculty at Strathmore Business School, a Loeries Awards Shared Value Judge and an Enactus Africa Entrepreneurship Awards Judge. Tiekie conceptualized, co-created and co-lectured the first ever Shared Value course on the Africa continent, delivered in September 2020 by SVAI and Strathmore Business School.

In 2021 Tiekie was nominated as one of 10 finalists in the Conscious Companies Awards for conscious visionary leadership.

In August 2022, Tiekie was invited to join the ESG Exchange, founded by Prof. Mervyn King, as a member of the ESG Exchange Advisory Committee.
